Projects

I use my background in the arts to help my clients visualise their final garden so they can make informed decisions throughout the process.

So many home owners know what they like when they see it, but struggle to visualise it when they are standing in their garden. This is where concept and perspective drawings really help.

Drawings also help communicate the design intentions to the landscaper so they can quote more accurately. Better to know these things upfront instead of during construction!
The whole design process is not just a creative one though, all the decisions made throughout the design process are heavily guided by experience in spacial design principals, sound horticulture knowledge and construction understanding. Below I've showed a smattering of projects I've been lucky enough to work on recently.

Modern Family Garden - Diamond Creek

Bordering natural bush and with a steep slope, this garden needed to blend the new build seemlessly into it's environment and provide plenty of usable space for the family of 5.

    Floral contemporary retreat - Templestow

Bountiful cut-flower and edible plantings nestled into a contemporary family-friendly garden.

Native & Edible Garden - Research

Rustic finishes and a diverse native planting scheme helps this garden sit comfortably within it's bush setting, attracting in wildlife and offering year-round produce for the owners.

Classic european dry garden - Kangaroo Ground

A tough but beautiful english garden to echo the 1920's homestead perched between paddocks and tall exotic trees.

Modern Front Garden - Diamond Creek

A soft planting scheme of grasses and tough perennials helps soften this new build.

Modern Woodland Garden - Glen Iris

A sinuous S-curve path leads visitors towards the dwelling, winding through textural plantings of low maintenance grasses and shrubs.

              Urban Coastal Garden - Bayside

To evoke the spirit of the beach, this garden is filled with sinuous curves, waving grasses and rustic timbers.

Resort-style living and family friendly low-maintenance planting makes this garden a luxe staycasion event every day.
